Top Tips on how to get the best out of the Service

Here are a few hints and tips from the Free International Call’s team on how to use the service effectively and to ensure you get the best out of it.

Don't press "call" after your international number

Remember you are making a call through a telecoms provider service "Free International Calls". Therefore once you have dialled the 087 944 3333 access number and listened to the message, the only other number you need to put in is your full international destination number. You do not need to press the "call button" as you are already connected to Free International Calls and we connect you directly. Pressing the "call" button after the destination number may lead to your service provider charging you for an international call. So to clarify a step by step guide to using the service:

1.) Check your destination's availability
2.) Dial the 087 944 3333 access number and listen to the voice message
3.) When prompted dial your full international destination number followed by the # key. (remember you DO NOT press send afterwards; you are automatically connected)

Can you use the service with a Pay-as-you-go phone

Absolutely you can!

Remember to ALWAYS check with your service provider what they will charge for calls to    087 944 3333 numbers before making your calls.

Hints and Tip
Step 1

Find out the appropriate pause character for your particular phone. Check your phone's user manual to learn the letter or character that indicates a pause. Different telephones use different characters.
2.
Step 2

Use a comma as a pause if you need to try to guess the pause key. The comma is the most common key for pausing. Some phones use the star character (*) to indicate a pause, and some use the pound (#) key to indicate a pause. A few phones use the letter "p" to indicate a pause.
3.
Step 3

Start entering a new phone number into your telephone's address book. Insert the pause character, then enter the extension or numerical password your phone needs to dial.
4.
Step 4

Add multiple pauses as necessary. If you want to perform more than one action, such as first enter a voice mail password, and then listen to the first voice mail message. Program your phone using Step 3 and include pauses to complete the action.
5.
Step 5

Save the phone number in your phone's memory. Dial the number to test. Listen as your phone dials to make sure that it is pausing long enough, and at the right times. If a single pause isn't long enough, you can add more pauses in a row.
